Talia, p. 11

It seems like a lifetime since I’ve been here. Yet the Inn still feels like home. I’ll visit the tanner tomorrow, another day resting before I return to my work. Another day before the long walk to the city.

Has it changed? Will I still find the welcoming arms I once knew? It feels so much like starting over, something I’m all too familiar with, but more than the other places I’ve visited, Arabel feels like where I belong.

Weary from travelling, I lay down with a sense of hope & uncertainty.
