That was unexpected and awkward. Was she just working from what I suggested, or was there some honest feeling there? In moments, her armor was back in place, so I may never know. Worse still, I don’t know how I feel. I’ve been watching others from a distance for so long, I did not expect it to creep up right next to me. Was there a spark there, or was it just the heat of the moment? It’s all become so clouded. At night I search the mountains alone, and by day… by day, my shadow has left me. *the ink trails off, writing unfinished*
